Getting to the bottom of an issue takes time. When one person has to make a decision, it can take them a long time, and with each person you add to the group, you are also adding their opinions of the matter, sometimes lengthening the decision making process. I know my it takes my family fifteen minutes to decide where to go for dinner. I can't imagine how long it would take to decide the fate of a persons life in court. Decisions like these take a lot of time and effort in order to be resolved.

  1. I agree! Getting to the bottom of a serious issue does and should take time because you are the fate of someone else's life. You would really have to think and dig deep in such a situation because those types of things really require you to think.

  3. I agree too, because taking time to figure out the truth in an issue can take a long amount of time just to make sure all evidence and information is put into account. In this story every piece of information was important cause that's someone's life that you are determining. It does take everyday people quite awhile to make even simpler desicions so I can't even imagine how long it would take to make a decision that big because you're basically ruining a human beings life and what if it's for no reason.
