Prejudice lives within every single person. Wether or not we chose to let that side of us come out, decides our say in a situation. Juror 10 is repeatedly accused of trying to inject his own prejudice ideas into the trial. And he does so very openly. He came across as almost foolish to the other jurors, and was ridiculed, and was eventually swayed away from his side of the argument. Prejudice may have its effect in your mind differently then in the mind of someone else.

  1. One of the definitions of Prejudice is " Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular social group, such as a race or the adherents of a religion." This is shown by Juror 10 because he sees himself higher than those "lower" to him. This colored his judgement of the case, during his monologue, he referred to the people that live in the slums or tenements as "Those" or "Them." After the long speech he had, the rest of the jurors completely disagreed with him, and told him that he should just stop because nobody was going to listen to him. Prejudice can lead people in directions that others will not follow in.
