It's critical that you look through even the smallest detail in a situation. Because you need to consider that those small details can be very influential and may turn the case around. For example when one of the jurors pointed out that the lady across the street had impaired vision, this completely changed the way everyone came across this situation. It is important that you pay attention to small detail because its what determines one outcome from another.
I agree looking at the facts and details of anything is important, especially in a murder case like in the play. The facts can influence the verdict positively or negatively. When Juror Eight disproved the eyewitness because she couldn't have seen the boy without her glasses, it turned the point of view of some of the other jurors around.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post and totally agree. The moment when the juror pointed out that the women had impaired vision was one of the, upon multiple others, small details that helped the argument. Details are very important in criminal cases as well as any other situation. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the A1, every little detail should be revised. Juror 8 pulls pieces of evidence and parts of the witnesses' statements and goes over them again to make sure that they are all correct. In some cases, like the old man, his statement was untrue to where it was impossible for him to see the murder happen. The woman across the street's statement was untrue because she couldn't have seen the murder from across the street. She claimed she woke up and witnessed the murder. That would have meant she would have wore her bifocals to bed and was wearing them while sleeping. Juror 8 proved those statements wrong by going over the evidence twice.
