In "Twelve Angry Men" it teaches you that you need to be open minded and accepting of as many points of view as possible, If you have this, then any outcome could be produced. The discussions in the jury room are geared towards showing the different perspectives needed to render an effective verdict. Once they cover these different view points then everything starts to fall in place.

  1. I agree that one of the authors purposes for writing the play was because he was trying to show that people need to be considerate of others opinions.the understanding of others perspectives would be the way to actually figure out come to find a verdict.

  2. I agree the main point of this play was to show how open mindedness and respect for others options can take you farther than just yelling and insulting others. The author was trying to show how the varying opinions of people clash on simple and more complex things, like guilt or innocence.
