Prejudice gets in the way of the truth in real life situations . Prejudice is extremely present in society today and can sway a case or situation. Prejudice isn't as obvious as it is presented in Twelve angry Men. A lot of times bigotry and prejudice are unnoticed but still there. Prejudice can obstruct the truth by manipulating situations and pouts of view. Biased and prejudice are very similar in the sense of their definition and presents. It's virtually imposible to be with out bias in any situation as to prejudice. An example of prejudice is the argument of color on page 14 and 15.

I totally agree about how prejudice and bigotry are present in society and it's not as obvious in the play. If tends to be that people are good at hiding their prejudice or dislike of others and people don't usually make it known. Even though society looks down on judging people outright they still do it , just not in a public manner.
ReplyDeleteI agree! In today's society especially, people have a hard time taking the time to listen to other people's thoughts and immediately become prejudice. Situations like this occur so much that some people often find themselves agreeing with the fundamentals with more universal prejudices such as sexism or racism, which also can lead to many widespread disruptions in society. Taking the time to not judge people based on their appearance or background may be something that can save a society from collapsing.
