Prejudice can make us have predetermined thoughts about people. If someone has a certain background or history, it is often that that will be all anyone will ever see about them. Many people tend to think that if a children is raised a certain way it means the child is bad. It is often that people will put labels on others, even without their own knowledge. Prejudice is very hard to completely ignore or not take part in.

I like what you said about how people have certain backgrouds or historys. I like how you talk about how the child is raised and them having a name over their head because that is how they were raised.
ReplyDeleteI agree because many of the jurors were looking at the kids background and judging him based off of those facts. I feel that all society does is judge by appearance and not by the truth itself. I feel the trial would have gone a lot quicker if they wouldn't have looked into the kids background history for so long.
