Part 2- 6A

One determined and skilled individual can wield a lot of influence. In the play the "Twelve Angry Men" all of the jurors wanted to immediately vote that the defendant was guilty due to there prejudice opinions. Juror 8 stood alone in thinking that the case had reasonable doubt, but he was determined to sway all the jurors opinions and show them the reasonable doubt. As time went on Juror 8 started slowly changing the jurors votes from guilty to not guilty. By the end he had made the whole jury flip their votes from guilty to not guilty. His pure determination had a lot of influence on the jury.

  1. I agree with everything you said about Juror 8. I believe he was a very intelligent and persuasive man. Because of how the trial was set up, I believe it helped him in changing the ideas of the jury. He used his side of the story to try and enlighten each and every person individually. With this and his natural talent of determination, he successfully went from the odd man out to the leader of the group that believed the defendant was not guilty.
